Registration QuestionsWhat comes with my registration?Registration tickets include the following:
Where do I pick up my registration materials?You will need to pick up your name badge along with conference materials when you arrive. Your name badge serves as entry to all convention functions, including social events and food/beverages. The registration desk is located in conference center of the Planet Hollywood during these hours:
What do I do if I need to cancel?All cancellation requests must be emailed to [email protected]. Refunds are subject to a 15% processing fee. No refunds will be made after September 30, 2019. Hotel, airline and rental car cancellations must be made by the registrant. Can I transfer my registration if I can no longer attend?Yes! You may transfer your registration to someone else in your organization. The request must be made via email to [email protected] and include the following information:
Hotel and Travel QuestionsIs there a deadline to book my hotel room at the group rate? Where do I make the reservation?The IAICDV group rate deadline is October 20, 2019. Reservations at the group rate can be made while vacancy is available. You can book online here or call 1-866-317-1829 and use the following group code to identify yourself as an IAICDV 2019 Annual Convention attendee: SMIAI9. Can I receive the discounted room rate for dates before and/or after the conference?Yes. IAICDV attendees can receive the discounted group rates from November 9-16, 2019. Come early or stay a few extra days to enjoy Las Vegas! Does the hotel provide transportation to/from the airport?No, but Caesars Entertainment, parent company of Planet Hollywood has partnered with Uber to maximize your time in Las Vegas, with convenient designated Uber pickup and dropoff locations at our resorts. Click here to learn more. What are the driving directions to the hotel? Is there parking available?The Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino is located at 3667 Las Vegas Blvd. South. Click here for driving directions. We provide a covered parking garage onsite to any of our guests. Valet is also available, when space allows. When coming down Las Vegas Boulevard (The Strip) if heading north turn right onto Harmon Avenue, on the left is the garage and valet entrance. If you wish to use our parking garage, we suggest driving through to valet and dropping off your luggage at the bell desk and then parking your vehicle in the garage. This way you're not carrying your luggage through the mall on your way to the casino and registration desk. Garage clearance is 6'8". Click here more more information on parking. General QuestionsHow do I get an attendee list?Approximately one-two weeks prior to the event, you can expect to receive an email entitled "Tips For Your Trip." This email will contain the attendee list including name, organization, city, state and email in PDF format. IAICDV does not distribute attendee lists in excel format or by request. Will I receive a printed convention program?Yes! Along with the 2020 Membership Directory, name badge and other materials, you will receive a printed convention program when you check-in at the convention registration desk. What is the convention attire?IAICDV Sessions & Social Functions: Business casual/resort wear is suitable (Men: khaki pants, dress shorts, collared shirts, slacks. Women: dress shorts/capris, slacks, blouses, knit tops). Light jackets/ sweaters are recommended as the meeting rooms can get chilly. 50th Anniversary Celebration Bash: Formal attire is recommended and encouraged (Men: suits. Women: evening/cocktail dresses.) When will keynote and educational session information be available?Programming for the Annual Convention should be available on the website here by September. Will there be free WiFi at the convention?Yes. Complimentary high-speed internet will be provided in the meeting space. Information for connecting will be posted at the IAICDV Registration Desk. Can I bring my spouse/children?Although attendees may bring family members to the hotel, only paid registrants wearing convention names badges will be permitted to attend convention events and food/social functions. |
